Hello myLot members! We are excited to bring you the very first “Promote myLot Video Contest”! The goal of this contest is simple. Make a video promoting myLot, put it on YouTube, and fill out the information below to submit it. The best video wins $1,000!

There is very little in the way of limitations for this contest. We basically want our users to come up with creative videos to promote myLot. Some general ideas could be an innovative tutorial highlighting how to use all the myLot features, or a creative commercial promoting myLot. Check out these videos that some myLot users have already created:

The possibilities are endless and one creative myLot member will win $1,000! Feel free to attach your referral link to your video so you get credit for users who join based on seeing your video. Enter as many videos as you’d like, the only requirement is that you do not enter the same video multiple times.

We have created a group at YouTube called mylotcontest specifically for the “Promote myLot Video Contest”. When you submit your video to YouTube, it must be uploaded to http://www.youtube.com/group/mylotcontest. The winner will only be selected from this YouTube Group.

After uploading your video to the myLotcontest group at YouTube, feel free to upload your video to as many video sharing sites as you’d like to help get your video more exposure. The more people that rate your YouTube video, the better chance you have to win. The judging criteria will be based on several factors including creativity, originality and the video’s YouTube rating.

The contest ends at 11:59:59 p.m. central standard time on May 31st 2007. myLot will choose a winner on or before June 5, 2007. The $1,000 prize will be paid to one lucky winner.
